Twickenham Centenary Celebrations 2010
Specialist fabric branding company, Live Event Branding, produced more than 2,000 square metres of pitch branding for the RBS Six Nations opener between England and Wales at Twickenham.
The five large scale banners were displayed on the pitch before kick off and were part of the famous rugby stadiums centenary celebrations.
Live Event Branding director, Rory Blackwood, said: “We were delighted to have been chosen to supply the branding for this years Six Nations opener at Twickenham and to have been a part of the centenary celebrations.
“A big effort by our team ensured we delivered a massive amount of branding for yet another high profile event.
“It was fantastic to be involved in one of the best pre-match displays we have seen and for our banners to be seen by 80,000 people at the stadium and millions more on television.”
Event organiser Stacey Griffin, of event360, said: “We chose Live Event Branding to produce the on pitch branding for the centenary match due to their specialist knowledge and experience in producing large scale banners on time and to brief for extremely high profile events.”
The banners were digitally printed onto fire retardant knitted polyester and printed using Vutek Fabri-vu’s/
The project took three weeks to complete.
